Nestled on top of Beech Mountain, this, the original, beautiful family owned all season lodge is less than a mile from the Ski Beech entrance, close to the Beech Mountain Club Recreation Center, and within walking distance to marked hiking trails. Lou's bears will greet you when you arrive, but don't expect them to help with the chores as they are quite lazy! As members of the Beech Mountain Club, guests can avail themselves to guest membership fun at the Club. Privileges include access to the heated Olympic size swimming pool in summer and utilization of the Alpen House at Ski Beech in winter. Golf, tennis, and health center privileges are also available at Club rates. Dining is available at the clubhouse or at the many nearby restaurants. There are always four seasons of great activities at Beech Mountain or the surrounding High Country. Lou's Lodge will surely get you away from any and all of those everyday stresses of life.

Lou's Lodge is a charter member of the Beech Mountain Club. The BMC Clubhouse has a main dining room and bar that offers spectacular Blue Ridge Mountain views and great mountain cuisine. The BMC golf course boasts a beautiful 18-hole ridge-top layout that strectches over elevations between 4200 and 4700 feet. There is never any summer heat with temperatures rarely exceeding 72 degrees. The 2008-2009 winter was snow after snow giving all a great ski season!!
